What is rake?
Every time you play poker at the real money tables the poker room takes out a small fee from every pot. This fee is usually 5% of the pot but will never go over $3 no matter the size of the pot. This fee is what the poker rooms make money on and it is better known as rake.
What is rakeback?
Rakeback is the percentage of the total rake you pay during a calendar months play. When you sign up for Cake Poker rakeback through us you will get 33% of the rake you generate during a month’s play straight back to your Cake Poker account. If you for example generate $1000 in rake during a month’s play you will get $333 back to your account after that month has finished. If you were playing without rakeback you would not get anything back from the rake that you paid during the month.
Why should I sign up for rakeback?
You should sign up for a rakeback account for one simple reason. You want to get some of the money that you pay the poker room in rake and tournament fees back every month. If you are playing without rakeback the poker room will be keeping the entire rake you have generated instead of giving some of it back to you.
How much money can I get back every month with rakeback?
That depends on a lot of different things such as what limits you are playing, how many tables you are playing, how many hands you are playing per day etc. But one thing is for sure, you will make more money from your poker game if you have an account set up with rakeback. Some of our players are getting over $1000 back from their rake every month thanks to this rakeback deal.
When is my rakeback paid out?
When you sign up for rakeback at Cake Poker through us you will get you rake paid out straight into your Cake Poker account between the 1st and the 5th every month. You don’t have to request the rakeback, this is all automated and you just have to wait for it to show up in your account.
Where can I see how much rake I have earned during a month?
Since this is a fully automated process you can see your rakeback updated a couple of times a day by logging in to your Cake Poker account and then click the “My account” tab followed by the “VIP Status” button and you will be able to see exactly how much rake you have generated and how much rakeback you will be getting at the beginning of the next month.
